ACROS in X-Pro2

Since having purchased X-Pro2 in early March, I’ve been exclusively shooting photographs in ACROS film simulation mode. I used to take monochrome photographs in the past with Fujifilm cameras, but this one, the monochrome by ACROS is really amazing. Beautiful tonality and subtle grains recognized in gray areas makes the photo stands out.

Shinjuku, Tokyo

In this photograph I took in Shinjuku, Tokyo recently, there are many different layers of lights, each of them representing different tones and textures. This one is a SOOC (straight out of camera) picture from X-Pro2 in ACROS mode and I wonder if previous X series camera could have ever been able to generate such image. ACROS really shines.
