What it feels like be in Chia-i
The fifth day in Chia-i, I still didn’t get out of my hostel even one step, yes, I am lazy, for no reason.
Glad I met a Chia-i friend in Tainan before, his name is Wei-shen, he was a fireman, now he work in the fire department office, he brought me a incredible chances that I can hold a sharing in Chia-i.
Wei-shen brought me to a little library, his girlfriend is the founder of the library, I LOVE READING, I LOVE BOOKS. He knew I am learning Taiwanese, he gave me a dictionary, a Taiwanese dictionary, I never seen a dictionary can thick than a bowl in my life, I would like to buy it, if I had enough spaces in my luggage.
Taiwanese is the most difficult language that I have learn, every time I speak Taiwanese, I feet like I am saying foul language, I feel embarrassing and rude, I still don’t know how to get through it, uhhhhh, Taiwanse.
Then, Wei-shen brought me to another book shop, which is found from his friend, Shi-Han. When I walked in, I felt like I back to Sofa-Story again. There is a place who including Cafe, library, and provide a space for people organize talks, parties.
Indeed, I love sharing my stories in Taiwan, but I never thought I had a chance that I can have my own sharing in Chia-i. I had a little chat with Shi-Han, she asked me a lot of what I have done in Taiwan, I told her I brought my own guitar and came to Taiwan, oh, and I wrote songs.
Suddenly, she asked me, “Do you want to sing here?”
YES!!! OF COURSE!! I screamed, inside my heart.
She picked her phone and checked on the schedule, “what about next Saturday?”
“Yes! Sure!” I accepted quickly.
“OK, Then see you next Saturday at 7:30pm!” She said.
“How do you want to name for this sharing?"
I still can’t believe things just happened.
Next problem.
What am I going to share?
