Individuals & Interactions OVER Processes and Tools
One of the core value of the Agile Manifesto is to value individuals and interactions over processes and tools. Processes and Tools are required to deliver software? NOT. People are required to deliver software. The interactions between the people who wants to deliver the software and who wants software to be delivered must have an effective communication in between, which is a very hard thing to do.
The Agile manifestos, values and principles do not say “never use processes and tools!” instead it says that we must emphasize on the interaction between team members and individuals before we consider tools. This manifesto explains that the communication between the team members are most important that the tools and techniques we use to deliver software.
