The exciting fifth season of “Call of the Ancients” is about to be launched. This season, based on the original card gameplay, incorporates the five-element restraint mechanism, launches a Flip Mode mode, opens a COA Grand Prix , and launches a fair competition system. This season promises to be more exciting than ever, with fresh elements and features that will redefine competitiveness this season.

Introduction to the Five Elements Restraint Mechanism

The Five Elements Restraint mechanism will be integrated into all modes. Players can choose Quick Mode to experience and master this gameplay rule before participating in ranked matches. Starting from the fifth season of COA, all cards will be divided into five categories: ice, fire, thunder, wind, and rock. The type of card will be clearly identified in the upper right corner of each card.

Five Elements Restraint Mechanism Rules

The five-element restraint mechanism will follow this rule: ice overcomes fire, fire and clay, thunder and wind, wind and rock, and rock and ice. In the original card battle gameplay, when the attacker and defender place cards, if the unilateral points of the cards are the same, they will be judged according to the card attributes. If the attributes are incompatible, the card can also be taken and the corresponding activation will be activated. With five elements of special effects, this gameplay update will bring players a richer combat experience.

For example: When the attacker and defender place cards with the same unilateral point of 1, and the attacker’s card is of ice attribute and the defender’s card is of fire attribute, the five-element restraint mechanism will be triggered, and the attacker will restrain the defender. Cards are taken.

Please note: The five-element restraint mechanism only follows the only mutual restraint rules for cards of the same point. If the cards have non-competitive attributes, the five-element restraint mechanism will not be triggered when cards of the same point meet; or it may be different.scoreHowever, cards with conflicting attributes will not trigger Five Elements Restraint when they meet.mechanism!

For example: when the attacker’s and defender’s cards with the same card point of 1 meet, and the attacker’s card is of fire attribute and the defender’s card is of rock attribute, the five elements restraint mechanism will not be triggered.

When the attacker’s card has 5 points and its attribute is ice, and the defender’s card has 6 points and its attribute is fire, the five elements restraint mechanism will also not be triggered.
