We did pretty much brainstorming before we got our final decision of what product/service we are going to do for this project. (Design thinking part 1 )(Design thinking part 1.2)

I saw this part pretty interesting, I am kind of quick decision-er. Every time my supervisor or teacher throw a topic, I come up with an idea fast, maybe too fast in some cases, “impulsive” .

And with these practices, brainstorming 3–12–3 (we have 3 minutes to generate ideas, 12 minutes to make a decision, 3 minutes to present to our colleagues.) brainwriting, service/professions/Harry potter design/ 5 elements designs, I’ve practiced generating as many ideas as I could.

An idea-generating process that enables everyone in the group to participate in a nonthreatening way. This approach can often generate more potential solutions than traditional brainstorming. -mindtools.com

A little off-topic but I really wanted to clap when the article said

“This can be one of the drawbacks of the brainstorming process. Some members of the group may not speak up because they’re shy or are afraid that their suggestions may be rejected. Others may say nothing at all because they fear their ideas are simply too outrageous or bold. People with stronger personality types may loudly push and defend their ideas, without listening to others’ suggestions. And conservative people may tend to propose only safe alternatives.”

Since I am a quite introvertive person I don't and I do avoid confronting people. However, I have strong opinion so this method is definitely my lifesaver. :)

Knowing that with these massive ideas we are going nowhere but a chaotic product. We started filter ideas by using Matrix 2x2 with this method you can easily understand which ideas are for sure not going to be part of our invention. And by writing value proposition we get a clear idea of what we should focus on the rest of the process, I would call it a SCRIPT for this invention.

Last but not least we used MoSCow to prioritize our objectives and decided our final conclusion for this project. Which is improving the online flower shops’ webs; purchasing experience, more sustainable philosophy, attract younger consumers..etc

In part 3 we started to make ideas into a real thing.
