How to make use of LinkedIn soul-rich and effective
Yesterday I got this auto message from a person, who I reached out to.
I totally understand that LinkedIn can be a soul-sucking and time-wasting place, but it makes me think how I can make the usage of LinkedIn soul-rich and effective.
One of my secrets (well, no longer secret now) is to take the advantage of posting by being clear of my goals!
For business reasons:
👋 I want to attract the right type of clients. Through my posts, I know who understand me, who appreciate my content and who I would like to talk with.
👋 I use posts to build trust and credibility.
I want people, who come across me randomly, to have a channel to know me better.
I want people, who I met through networking, to have a way to keep in contact with me.
I want people, who are making a decision if he/she should work with me, to have resources to make that important decision wisely.
For personal reasons:
😀 I want to practise my writing skills. I have a rich inner world, I want to express it elegantly and in a way that people like to read and easy to understand.
😀 I want to publish my own book one day. So I need to organise my thoughts in a structural way and as appealing readable stories.
For spiritual reasons:
😇 My posts are aimed to help people improve their life or business, not aimed to get their Likes. So if people read and get just one insight from it and apply it. My goal is achieved. If they give Likes or not, it depends on if they want to spread that content to more people and help others to be better or not.
When I am clear with my goals and hold onto them, I make LinkedIn a soul-rich and effective place for me and for others.
