All Mastery, Ultimate and Key Passive Skills

The Mastery Skills Cluster

These skills focus on mastering the elements (such as fire, ice, and lightning) to deal significant area-of-effect damage to enemies. These skills typically require a lot of skill points to fully invest in, but they can be incredibly powerful when used effectively. 16 points are required to unlock this Skill Cluster.

Blizzard

A cold damage spell that deals high damage and continuously chills enemies. Fully upgraded it deals increased damage to Frozen enemies and can lower the costs of your Core Skills.

Diablo 4 — Blizzard skill

Summon a frigid blizzard that deals 140% damage and continuously Chills enemies for 18% over 6 seconds.

⏳ Cooldown: 0

Enhancement: Blizzard’s deals 25% increased damage to Frozen enemies.

Upgrade (Mage’s): When cast above 50 Mana, Blizzard’s duration is increased by 4 seconds.

Upgrade (Wizard’s): While you have an active Blizzard, your Core Skills cost 10% less Mana.

Meteor

A fire damage spell that summons a Meteor to strike the target location. The ground burns for damage over time and its upgrades allow an additional Meteor falls on the same location.

Diablo 4 – Meteor skill

Summon a Meteor that strikes the target location, dealing 42% damage. The ground Burns for 29% damage over 3 seconds.

⏳ Cooldown: 0

Enhancement: If a cast of Meteor hits 3 or more enemies, there is a 30% chance an additional Meteor falls on the same location.

Upgrade (Mage’s): Meteor falls 30% faster.

Upgrade (Wizard’s): Meteor’s impact Immobilizes enemies for 2 seconds.

Firewall

A fire damage spell that creates a wall of flames, burning enemies. Fully upgraded enemies take increased burning damage from you while standing in Firewall.

Diablo 4 — Fire Wall skill

Create a wall of flames Burning enemies for 137% damage over 8 seconds.

⏳ Cooldown: 0 seconds

Enhancement: Enemies take 25% increased Burning damage from you while standing in Firewall.

Upgrade (Mage’s): Enemies continue Burning for 3 seconds after leaving Firewall.

Upgrade (Wizard’s): You gain 5% increased Mana Regeneration per active Firewall, up to 25%.

Ball Lightning

A lightning damage spell that conjures a ball of lightning that zaps enemies. If enhanced Ball Lightning’s damage rate is increased and you gain an attack speed bonus with a chance to stun enemies.

Diablo 4 — Ball Lightning

Conjure a ball of lightning that slowly moves forward, continually zapping enemies for 15% damage.

🔮 Mana cost: 40
⏳ Cooldown: 0

Enhancement: Ball Lightning’s damage rate is increased by 200% of your Attack Speed Bonus.

Upgrade (Mage’s): After hitting Close enemies 50 times with Ball Lightning, your next cast of it Stuns enemies hit for 1 second.

Upgrade (Wizard’s): If an enemy is hit at least 4 times by a cast of Ball Lightning, a Crackling Energy is formed. Can only happen once per cast.

Passives Mastery

Static Discharge

Lucky Hit: Critical Strikes with Shock Skills have a 5% chance to form a Crackling Energy.

Shocking Impact

Every time you Stun an enemy you deal 15% Lightning damage to them. Requires 1 point in Static Discharge.

Invigorating Conduit

Upon absorbing Crackling Energy, you gain 4 Mana. Requires 1 point in Static Discharge.

Icy Veil

Your Barriers have 5% increased duration.

Cold Front

While you have a Barrier active, you apply 8% more Chill. Requires 1 point in Icy Veil.

Snap Freeze

Lucky Hit: Frost Skills have a 3% chance to instantly Freeze. Requires 1 point in Icy Veil.

Inner Flames

Your Pyromancy Skills deal 3% increased damage while you are Healthy.

Devouring Blaze

You deal 10% increased Critical Damage against Burning enemies. If they are also Immobilized, this bonus is increased to 25%. Requires 1 point in Inner Flames.

Crippling Flames

Lucky Hit: Your Pyromancy Skills have a 5% chance to Immobilize enemies for 2 seconds. This chance is doubled while you are Healthy. Requires 1 point in Inner Flames.

The Ultimate Skills Cluster

Ultimates are powerful abilities with a long Cooldown and must be strategically incorporated into a player’s build to be effective. Players can only choose one Ultimate and there is only one rank available with a linear two-step upgrade path that doesn’t provide any additional options. Unlocked at Skill Level 23.

Deep Freeze

Encase yourself in ice, becoming Immune for 4 seconds, continually dealing 10% damage and Chilling enemies for 20%. When Deep Freeze expires, it deals an additional 100% damage. Casting Deep Freeze again ends the effect early.

⏳ Cooldown: 60.0 seconds

Upgrade 1 (Prime): When Deep Freeze ends, gain 10% of your Base Life as Barrier for 6 seconds for each enemy you Froze while it was active.

Upgrade 2 (Supreme): When Deep Freeze ends, your Non-Ultimate Cooldowns are reduced by 50%.

Inferno

Summon a fiery serpent that continually constricts the target area, Burning enemies for 174% damage over 8 seconds.

Upgrade 1 (Prime): Inferno repeatedly Pulls enemies to its center.

Upgrade 2 (Supreme): While Inferno is active, your Pyromancy Skills cost no Mana.

Unstable Currents

Description: Lightning surges within you for 10 seconds. Whenever you cast a Shock Skill, a random Core, Conjuration, or Mastery Shock Skills is also cast.

⏳ Cooldown: 70.0 seconds

Upgrade 1 (Prime): Unstable Currents increases Attack Speed by 25% while active.

Upgrade 2 (Supreme): While Unstable Currents is active, collecting Crackling Energy continually pulses and consumes no charges.

Passives Ultimate

Coursing Currents

Hitting enemies with Shock Skills increases your Critical Strike Chance by 1%. Resets upon getting a Critical Strike.

Electrocution

Enemies deal 5% less damage for 5 seconds after being Critically Struck by your Shock Skills. Requires 1 point in Coursing Currents.

Conduction

Critical Strikes with Shock Skills increase your Movement Speed by 3% for 3 seconds. Requires 1 point in Coursing Currents.

Convulsions

Lucky Hit: Shock Skills have 3% chance to Stun enemies for 3 seconds. Requires 1 point in Electrocution or Conduction.

Permafrost

Frost Skills deal 5% increased damage to Elites.

Icy Touch

You deal 4% increased Cold Damage to Vulnerable enemies. Requires 1 point in Permafrost.

Hoarfrost

You deal 3% increased damage to Chilled enemies, and 6% increased damage to Frozen enemies. Requires 1 point in Permafrost.

Frigid Breeze

Lucky Hit: Cold Damage against Vulnerable enemies has a 20% chance to generate 5 Mana. Requires 1 point in Icy Touch or Hoarfrost.

Fiery Surge

Killing a Burning enemy increases your Mana Regeneration by 10% for 3 seconds

Endless Pyre

You deal increased Burning damage to enemies for each second they remain Burning, up to 5% after 5 seconds. Requires 1 point in Fiery Sourge.

Soulfire

After standing still for 1.5 seconds, your Pyromancy Skills cost 5% less Mana. Requires 1 point in Fiery Sourge.

Warmth

Every 1 second, you Heal for 0.3% or your Maximum Life for each Nearby Burning enemy. Healing increased to 0.6% from Bosses. Requires 1 point in Soulfire or Endless Pyre.

The Key Passives Skills Custer

These passives are likely to be game-changers and can significantly alter the way your build plays. Choosing one of them can define your playstyle and determine your strengths and weaknesses. These passives are typically located at the bottom of the skill tree, and they require a significant investment of skill points to unlock. They are often considered the ultimate goal of a build and can be a significant factor in determining its viability. You may only select one Key Passive. Unlocked at Skill Level 33.

Avalanche

Lucky Hit: Your Frost Skills have a up to a 10% chance to make your next cast of Ice Shards, Frozen Orb, or Blizzard consume no Mana and deal 40% increased damage. Chance is doubled against Vulnerable enemies.

Shatter

After Freeze expires, enemies explode for 25% of the damage you dealt to them while Frozen.

Combustion

Your Burning effects deal 2% increased damage per unique source of Burning you have applied to the enemy. If the enemy is Burning for 3 or more sources, this bonus is doubled.

Esu’s Ferocity

Your Fire Critical Strike Damage is increased by 25% against enemies above 50% Life. Your Fire Critical Strike Chance is increased by 5% against enemies below 50% Life. Killing an enemy with a Critical Strike grants both bonuses against all enemies for 3 seconds.

Vyr’s Mastery

Close enemies take 10% increased damage from your Shock Skills and deal 20% less damage to you. Critical Strikes increase these bonuses by 25% for 3 seconds.

Overflow Energy

Crackling Energy hits 1 additional enemy. Each time Crackling Energy hits an enemy, your Shock Skill Cooldown are reduced by 0.1 seconds, increased to 0.25 seconds against Elites.

Status affects

  • Vulnerable enemies take 20% increased damage. Frozen enemies cannot move or attack. Enemies can be frozen by repeatedly Chilling them.
  • Barriers absorb damage from all sources up to a specific amount.
  • Crackling Energy periodically damages surrounding enemies when picked up.
  • Healthy characters have amore than 80% of their Life.
  • Chilled enemies have reduced Movement Speed. Repeatedly chilling an enemy will Freeze it.
  • Frozen enemies cannot move or attack. Enemies can be frozen by repeatedly chilling them.
  • Immune characters cannot be damaged and all negative effects are removed and prevented.
  • Unstoppable characters have all Control Impairing Effects removed and prevented.
