Smart city, is an evolutionary concept at an exponential level, born of the search for greater sustainability in urban settlements that have a positive impact on our lives, based on: data, infrastructure, innovation, cutting-edge technology with the aim of reducing Consumption Energy and CO2 emissions.

It should be noted that from an architect’s point of view, an intelligent city is more than interconnected data, such as population density, media, environment, displacement, vehicular quantity, socioeconomic level of population, interconnection systems, user type , Percentage of green areas, energy requirements, among others. However, the interpretation of these is essential for the planner, in the incidence of good design.

Taking into account, all these foundations that allow to design intelligent cities more friendly with the habitat, less aggressive with the ecosystem, maintaining the following premises:
 Use of renewable energy.
 Design and planning of public roads for electric vehicles, with priority for pedestrians.
 Incorporation of new technologies of information and communication to public services example: Free Internet.
 Efficient utilities.
 Protection and safety.
 Financial Sustainability.
 Citizen participation in government.
 Social capital.
 Sustainable economy.
 Relations between the public and private sectors.

In general terms they are better cities for all with connectivity, mobility, security and data management.
