Note : This is now a member-only story. However if you join the Stable Diffusion Training Discord Server, and ask me there (@yushan.777), I will give you a Friends link to view with free access.

Many following Corridor Digital’s Dreambooth tutorial from February 2023 may have realised at some point during that things looked a bit different versus what they were seeing in the video. As is often the case with video tutorials, they can become out of date quickly. In the case of JoePenna’s repository, things have moved on a bit and if you were to follow the Corridor video step by step now, it won’t work.

Those with enough experience should be able to adapt the tutorial steps to the current state of the repo. However for those of you who are new or a bit lost, read on. This will be quite short because much of the content in the video still applies. I will only highlight the dreambooth differences and what do to.

Note: Although both JoePenna’s and Gammagec’s repos are mentioned (00:10:06) and that he says he is using Gammagec’s, if you look closely throughout the video he is clearly using JoePenna’s since you can see the notebooks that are part of the repo — such as in this screenshot below (00:28:52).
