If you spend any time at all researching life hacks, you’ve probably heard of the famous Pomodoro Technique. The Pomodoro technique is the

“Time management method”.

The technique uses a timer to break down into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. These intervals are named Pomodoro’s. It is very powerful method for getting more work done with less stress. The Pomodoro technique is one of the most widely used. It was created in 1980s by Francesco Cirilo.

If you need a systematic way to tackle your daily to-do list, the Pomodoro Technique fit to your needs.

In order to avoid procrastinating I decided to use Pomodoro technique. As I am fond of drawing so I gave a target to myself that to draw a cartoon character which I never draw before and I am not allowed to make any changes in it.

I have set the timer (alarm) to 25 minutes and started working on it without any distraction. I was considering that I am in a drawing contest and there is timer set to present my skill. I was distracted meanwhile that why I am testing this technique for this activity, there must be something else. To avoid distraction I was recalling that I have only limited time so I have to focus. When the Alarm rang I have almost completed the drawing and it was not too bad.

I found that this activity actually incredible to doing things on time. This experiment is really worth to do and I did not find it difficult. It helped me in doing the thing which usually takes 1 hour because a person with habit of procrastinating things is not able to focus. This activity made a person super focus as there is a timer set of 25 minutes.

I will use this technique regularly for

  • Avoiding procrastination
  • Made myself to accomplish tasks
  • Being more productive

I will suggest everyone to utilize this technique in order to be more focused.
