ESS. Is that only about studying?
If you think that studying at ESS is super boring — you are not right!
Sometimes students can look like this:

But they are not bored. They are just tired because of the intensive schedule. Actually, we have a lot of different activities and events. The main point is that whatever we do, wherever we are, we should speak only English.
During the first week, we had many exciting events. I’m gonna tell you about some of them.
The most interesting for me was the celebration of American Independence Day.

I didn’t practice such celebrations before ESS. It was unusual and full of interesting games. The students favourite part was eating hot-dogs and drinking Coca-Cola (cause students are always hungry).

On Thursday, the 6th of July, we had some team building games. It was quite funny. The games were pretty easy but all of them were useful for us.

And finally, on Thursday evening we had a celebration of the holiday Ivana Kupala. There was a big bonfire, girls wore flower wreaths and all the people were singing and dancing.
It was the best evening at ESS.

I think the aim of ESS is not just studying.
ESS gives us an opportunity to overcome the language barrier. It helps us become more open-minded and cheerful.
Events that are held here unite all people (students, teachers, mentors and organizers).
To sum up, I want to say that I’ve had the time of my life at ESS.
