Thanks Guita Gopalan
While reading your commitments, I was wondering if self-management was about people or about systems (teamwork, corporations, organizations…). How to know in advance if a person has the potential to thrive in self-management? Or will selection only be about the past: finding people with previous experience in self-management?
Insight: When I come to selecting people (recruitment), I have no better process than putting them at work. If I had to select a football player (or a rugby player for Susan Basterfield), it’s always better the watch them play. If I made an interview instead, I would probably select people who are good at talking about football (such as journalists), not actual players. To limit impostures, I put people at work (and I work with them so that they can select me as well).
