Are you ready to join the global dataviz community? Fortunately, there are a number of amazing conferences held throughout this year that can help you network with your peers, uncover new learnings, give you memories, and lot of fun. Let’s check them.

Eurasian Dataviz Conference
When: February 9–10
Where: Online
Cost: Free (light), $49(pro)

The Eurasian online conference opens the season. The event starts with a methodological panel discussion. There will be workshops, best practices and trends, and case studies. On the first day, you can also take part in the Make Your Data Speak award ceremony, where you can be inspired by the outstanding work of others! If you don’t have time to watch all the shows in 2 days, don’t worry. All materials are saved.

NICAR — Investigative Reporters and Editors
When: March 2–5
Where: Nashville, Tennessee, USA

NICAR is IRE’s annual data journalism conference. It is packed with panels, workshops, and roundtables covering the latest developments in investigative and data journalism. You can learn practical tips from prize-winning members during sessions.

The Conference is hosted by the Data Visualization Society. The event will provide inspirational talks given by people who work across different industries and each has a unique and varying level of experience in the field of data visualization on specialisms.

If you work with Tableau this is your event this year. IT’S MORE THAN JUST A CONFERENCE. This is the world’s largest data community celebration. The event is an immersive data experience that is all about learning and networking opportunities for attendees, Get inspired by data success stories, discover how data-driven insights can take your business to new heights, and just have fun with the DataFam.

S-H-O-W

June 1–2
Where: Utrecht, Netherlands

S-H-O-W is organized by Graphic Hunters, a data visualization training institute. This one-track event exists of professional talks, discussions, music and other data visualization activities.

Eurovis

June 12–16
Where: Leipzig, Germany
Cost: €200–€1100

EuroVis is the annual Visualization Conference organized by the Eurographics Working Group on Data Visualization. It has been a Eurographics and IEEE co-supported international visualization symposium held in Europe. The aim of the conference is to make and strengthen connections between visualization researchers and practitioners.

Visualizing Knowledge

Where: Espoo, Finland

VK23 is a one-day conference. It allows you to discuss and explore uncertainty in a new light and find prevalent questions and explanations through information design and dataviz to unravel the complexity.

Infographic Conference
When:
October 13
Where: Hilversum(30 minutes from Amsterdam), Netherlands

The Infographics Conference is an annual event in the Netherlands about information design, infographics and data visualization. Every year a selection of information designers from all over the world are invited to speak at our conference.

DataFest Tbilisi

November 9–11
Where: Tbilis, Georgia

The greatest data festival on the crossroads of Europe and Asia. It brings together hundreds of data professionals and enthusiasts from all around the world, to share experiences, spread inspiration, create meaningful connections, and promote the cross-sectoral usage of data to make change.
