I think you missed Tim’s point. He ran as a Dem in the primary against Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Democrats expect corruption from the Republicans, not from their own party. We expect better. This presidential election (Thanks Bernie Sanders!) has been a wake-up call for many of us on just how corrupt the Democratic Party is. The Dems fooled many of us for years. I personally always thought they were the “good guys.” How jolting to discover that they were no better than the Republicans, or in my opinion, actually worse! They are worse because they have convinced so many middle class and poor voters that their party will fight for the average person, not Wall Street bankers, when the opposite is true. We all knew the Republicans were Wall Street sycophants who don’t give a fig about us. To discover that the Dems don’t either is pretty depressing.
