Tolerance is not a moral precept

This is why we have laws. No other reasons. The problem with the legal aspects is that is doesn’t solve the problem. Tolerating is not natural. If something bothers you, you don’t have to do anything about it, but it will eat at you. Caring about your opinions does that. Some call it having a big ego. Whatever. We often pin each other against something politically, religiously, in sports, sexually, mine better then yours, the other team. Why? I hear we need to belong to some group. Better revisit that, last time I checked, we were all human living on the same planet. Can we just go on that? What’s with this obsession to categorize everything but at the same time pushing for conformity? This equation is doomed to failure.
