Blame Seth

I was listening to a podcast by Seth Godin and he recommended the daily practice of writing a blog. I’ve used writing in the past for therapeutic purposes but I wouldn’t dare share the contents of my little notebook, way too much whining.

Over the next month, I’m going to make an effort to follow Seth’s lead and share observations on a daily basis. This is a test drive. In the past, I’ve had apprehensions about expressing myself in a public forum (even if no one is listening) for the simple fact that I change my mind constantly. It’s the same reason I wouldn’t get a tattoo. When I read an entry in one of my notebooks from past travels, I don’t recognize myself and my amorphous identity often results feelings of poignant embarrassment. You have no idea how thankful I am that Facebook was not around during my younger days.

So that’s it. I’m gonna give it a go and if things don’t go well, I’ll blame Seth.
