Great article, thanks for sharing. I think that the combination of the context being an experimental feature AND it having the potential to bring along all the bad stuff that can happen from mismanaged globals has probably scared me off using this feature for now. But I’m glad to have read your article so I can keep my eye on how people are using it and maybe consider it in the future.

I’m sorry to go off on a tangent here but seen as you walked through HOCs in your article I thought I’d ask. I have seen people on the internet saying that HOCs can be a good way to implement a decorator pattern of sorts. What are your thoughts on this? If you has already heard of this as a pattern would you care to share some of your favourite articles on the subject?
