I just use `sinon` and mock only the functions I need on the fly.

You see, that was my initial thought but then I had this worry that as my application grew those alias mappings would also grow. Equally then you would also have another thing to do every time you wrote a new set of action creators. Because as it stands I’ve written one of these api modules per container component so that I can more easily plonk the container components anywhere I want.

I guess it’s a classic trade off, cleaner separation of concerns or a ballooning alias configuration for webpack. I spend some more time thinking about it. Thanks for coming back to me.
