UK and the US: Oddly Similar politics

The UK currently has a number of viable parties, with four of them representing most UK voters. The UK has traditionally been the European country most like the United States, for better or for worse. The UK and US saw conservatives reign for the 1980s, only to have their liberal party adopt a “third way”. Their right wing increasingly became focused on migration issues, as ours now does. One can even argue Brexit predicted Trump’s election. A look at their parties show’s a parallel with our own political makeup.
