Life after Death
The fear of death has been hijacked by at least the Abrahamic religions and turned into a weapon of mass destruction. Organised Religion is a crime against humanity by any rational standard but in many countries freedom of religion is protected constitutionally. Why, because of religious persecution.
Yes, the Catholic Church has been partly responsible for religious persecution hence people now have protection. One can look at say Wikipedia , religious persecution is not restricted to Christianity it is widespread and ancient.
Hel
Imagine
Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us, only sky
Imagine all the people
Livin’ for today
Ah
The one L in hell is no typing error. It is no coincidence that the Christian name for the same place is Hell. Well the name and concept of hell is probably a spelling mistake made by the Vikings, the Viking age was 793–1066 where the “official “ marking is of the end of the Viking era, they lost the battle of Stamford Bridge and that was it. It thus seems logical that the Vikings got the word from Missionaries like the one called Ansgar in the NETFLIX Series the Vikings.
In the Viking case Hel was a underground venue ruled by the Devil Woman called Hel. John Lennon was right.

The crime in religion or at least in Christianity is to scare people with concept of hell in order the extract subscriptions for a service that will never be delivered. I find it unsettling that fear is used coerce people into parting with money. Religion was created by the combined forces of fear of the unknown or unpredictable weather and also the fear of death, famine, health concerns, crop failure and war.
In order to find an entity that caused these events the concept of a God was created. From ancient Greece to Scandinavia and the earliest religions had a large component of Paganism. There is plenty evidence if one cares to look for it so Christianity is nowhere as clean or distinct from Paganism as advertised.
Nothing Becomes Something and then Disappears.
I used to think that infinity extends to both sides of time, one part to the future and one part into the past. The question, the unanswered question is what came before the big bang? My hypothesis is that time does not exist if nothing moves.
Based on this idea not even time existed before the big-bang.
People did not exist before the big-bang, after the big-bang nature had to evolved on earth and evolutionary forces eventually created Adam & Eve. Or so the story goes. As I understand it Adan and Eve discovered the “Heaven” position and had to leave, maybe it was the snake’s idea.
So, 1 couple started copulating, and the kids started copulating, grandkids followed and eventually there were 7 Billion ancestors that survived incest.
This is a very unlikely story because nature would not allow it. The bible or the authors of the bible concocted this story to credit “God” with enormous powers and this gave birth to the phrase “The fear of God” or “If you dont listen, God will punish you”.
In order to preserve the concept of Holiness Jesus was the result of a Virgin birth so half holy half human.
My line of thinking is clearly that Christianity trades on fear and ignorance if we forget the atrocities of the past.
The fear of death is cause by religion.
If we go back to the big bang it occurred 13,9 Billion years ago. It is a finite number and not infinity, infinity is truncated by the big bang. So to a high degree of accuracy all of us did not exist for 13,9 Billion years. We were nothing physical and we were not aware of it.
What occurred to me is that the past is finite but if the future is we dont know. As time passed us the finite past grows and if the future is finite it shrinks. This leads one to ponder how the end of the world may come about, what would be the catalyst and what would be the final result?
So one day your parents managed to conceive you and you were part egg, part sperm. You were born and your awareness developed, you had awareness in the womb but no recollection.
This being called a human lives for a very short period of time compared to cosmic time, an infinitesimally small period of time. During this period a human is a biological being with hopes, fears, emotions and genes.
When we eventually die our bodies are burnt or decompose from biological matter to physical matter.
Cremated remains are mostly dry calcium phosphates with some minor minerals, such as salts of sodium and potassium. Sulfur and most carbon are driven off as oxidized gases during the process, although about 1% -4% of carbon remains as carbonate.
We are now a a few Billion atoms, there is no heaven or hell below us.
Awareness is a matter of Biology, neurons in your brain.
