All Treatment is Not Created Equal: the Price Tag for Mental Health Treatment

Thank you for sharing. One of my motivations for working hard is so I can afford health care for the variety of long term illnesses I’m burdened with. My new job’s insurance covers psychiatrists with a copay, but my last job didn’t and I also had to pay $100 per visit. I could only afford seeing her a few times a year, to make sure I kept getting my antidepressants. She wasn’t helpful with talking through my problems.
