It’s those people that I meet who create the spaces in places in time in which I dwell, for whom I have the deepest respect, admiration and gratitude. It’s not so much the people, the conversations or the context that I remember. No, it’s those spaces in places in time. They are captured in the aperture of my mind. Frames on frames on frames of spaces and places in time. They exist but once and I collect them graciously and ardently. Like a shopper in the windows of life I move and slide through time. So much time will I consume in my short dance, but only such a small amount, only a few spaces in places in time will be captured in mind. Printed in the dark room and developed into the stories on which I base the I, that I call me. It’s these experiences and the stories that I and the others around me develop and craft that create a collective now based on an aggregated then.
