There was a French VC who was just laying into the founder/managers. Literally screaming at them about how they were screwing up. I was shocked, not just at the basic lack of manners, but at the ineffectiveness of what he was doing. I briefly considered leaving the investing side of the industry, if that’s how people regularly conducted business.
