7 Tricks That Will Save Your Beach Date
Did you say beach? Life doesn’t get much better than catching a couple rays with your besties on a hot weekend. The struggle: how to be cute without buckets of makeup dripping off. We’ve figured it out!
1. Sunscreen
It’s a love- hate relationship. Don’t want premature wrinkles do we ladies? Before putting on any make-up look for a light based sunscreen that has a fluid formulation. We are absolute fans for La-Roche Posay. It is fragrance free and leaves your skin feeling grease free — what could be better?
2. Foundation
Liquid foundation? Forget it! Keep it clean and easy, if need be mix a little of your liquid foundation into your sunscreen for a safe and tinted face. Brush your powder foundation on top and your face will feel protected, powdered and powerful!
3. Eyeliner
Less is more with eyes! Keep it ohhh natural, grab your light brown and pink hues for your eyes. If eyeliner is a must, ZAHARA eyeliner is beach-proof and will nail this look.

4. Mascara
Mascara such a pain but a necessary staple. Make sure its water-proof and your good to go… double check its water-proof… there is nothing worse then emerging from the water as a racoon. Yikes!
5. Lips
Luscious lips — keep the clear gloss off! It looks great but the sun goes right through! Try to pick one with a bit of colour, even better use a lip balm with SPF15 or higher. Lip stain is also a hidden gem — love it and requires minimal touch ups.
6. Hair
It IS possible for the frizzy all over the map hair to look cute. Throw it up into a messy bun to keep it off your neck and face! The strands around your face that will not co-operate will add to the beachy look — for the pros try to fix a braid in your beachy up do! SO fresh for summer and looks ah-mazing.
7. Pro Tip
Do nottt forget those magical moistened cleansing wipes! They are the perfect pick me up after a beach day before your next move! Nothing feels better then wiping off the oil and sweat after a hard day at the beach.
