If you actually are a bit of a citizen of the world you can put this into historical context and KNOW all the greatness that Colombia is in so many ways. As a Latin American/Caribbean woman I know the warmth of its people, the richness of its culture in its variety of expressions, the nature, the culinary traditions. There is so much that we know “down here” about Colombia. And instead of discouraging people of watching a show, maybe you should encourage them and teach a bit more about the contemporary Colombia. So many movies are made about horrible historical things, yet people manage to look beyond that, you are underestimating millions of us that don’t take a show as the absolute truth. thumbs down for the motivation for your article.
