Why every woman wishes to marry a chef?…

Love and Food can’t go wrong!

Most women love to eat. So take notes men, haha. I, personally never say no to food!

Back in the days, there was this notion that women did and should know it all including cooking. But times have definitely changed.

In my culture, it is the norm for woman to spend up to two hours in the kitchen cooking. So, growing up I began to dislike cooking.

Not saying, this skill didn’t come handing especially when I became a mom. But, I was prefer cleaning and baking more then cooking. Put me doing anything else and I will do it with a smile on my face.

But, when it comes to cooking my face caves in, my mood changes and I lose my appetite. My son enjoys my cooking, though!

“ What a dilemma! Hate cooking but love eating!

Perhaps behind many titles, I carry such as soccer coach, cleaner, counsellor to my kid’s problem, Event planner, volunteer at my son’s school, laundry lady, soon to be student, leader, and finally chef. I am just waiting for the perfect cook, who will will sweep me off my feet haha.

And what about the woman who chooses to be a working woman either because she is a single mom, or simply wants her own financial independence.

After a long day at work, who really wants to cook. So, why not take turns, husbands! This alleviates so much stress.

“Can a girl get a break once in a while?”

I know some women wouldn’t mind. They would definitely appreciate a day off the kitchen.

Just picture this, after a long day from work or the new mom, who does nothing but change diapers, and feed her baby. But then, Prince Charming comes and surprises her with her favourite dish and some nice wine by candle lights.

Bam, that did it for me! Marry me, please! Hahaha

I find that more romantic, beautiful gesture then a guy showering me with gifts.

Well, fellas you don’t have to do this every day for your wives and girlfriends but, it will defenatly enhance emotional intimacy and increase communications.

I have yet to meet a man who loves and knows how to cook.

And no fellas, I’m not talking about scrabble eggs, a sandwich or macaroni & cheese. That’s piece of a cake.

No joke, I praying God blesses me with a chef in the house.

Lord, he doesn’t have to be the perfect package but let him be the perfect cook. In Jesus name, hallelujah!
Hahaha, I am cracking up right now, just as I am praying this, haha!

Tips:

  • To single guys; take a cooking class and learn to make her favourite dish or desert. And surprise her with a picnic at the park. She will definitely be over hills for you.
  • To married guys; Just because you are married, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try taking initiative to cook and make her feel special on your anniversary, or other events. Make time and don’t make excuses. See it as a beautiful gesture.
  • Enjoy it, no pressure. Haha
For those who are willing to cook and surprise her, you get A for effort.

Well, fellas there it is. It is sexy, cool to see a man in the kitchen. “It’s every woman’s dream to marry a chef.”
