Looking at the actual benchmark data, this statement seems VERY misleading. Emotion had roughly a 60–85ms rerender time (depending on which mode) while styled-components had 85–90ms rerender time, again depending on which mode. The one exception being styled-components-v2-plugin-decouple-cell which had a 2297ms rerender time. Not saying Emotion is bad, but touting a 25x performance increase is pretty misleading in this context; don’t you think?
