Eating insects won’t kill you

Two words. The introduction of “parasites” and “disease”. If we were to start eating bugs such as in America we would need to select insects not prone to afflictions above. I say this because of the cross species contraction of disease and parasites from animals to humans.

An example of this would be the swine flu which caused nationwide panic in America. The swine flu was originally a virus affecting only pigs that crossed over to humans. While it wasn’t devastating it did caused nationwide panic and gained massive amounts of media coverage on the east coast.

Now is this a bad idea? No, I just don’t want to end up a zombie. This video explains it well enough
