The first thing you should know is that you will feel right at home if you have ever used Photoshop. Photopea’s user interface is nearly identical. On the right is the toolbar, and on the left is the panel with layer options and other features. You’ll be able to customize the left column as well, though you’ll have to do so for each new project.

When you first open the app, you’ll have the option of opening images from your computer or starting a new project, which will allow you to create images from templates. There are templates with sizes adapted to social networks, such as Facebook or Instagram’s measurements for their various photos, which is an interesting point. As a result, this can greatly assist you in creating images for them.

This web application’s interface has been designed to be easy to use. For example, you can display the sub-options by right-clicking on the elements in the options bar. Furthermore, right-clicking and resizing the web disables other external actions.

Like Photoshop, you’ll be able to add and manipulate image layers in this program, allowing you to create multi-layered graphics to your liking. In the Image tab, you also have all of the advanced options for modifying and enhancing the image. With automatisms in this tab, you can adjust the contrast, tone, and color of a photo.

Photopea, as previously stated, has a large library of keyboard shortcuts inherited from Photoshop, as well as a theme system for changing the color of the interface. Overall, it’s ideal if you’re looking for a free Photoshop alternative that works in nearly every browser. If your browser supports it, you can even install it as a web app.

Finally, we’d like to point out that the tool includes a filter section that allows you to manipulate the image quickly, as well as the ability to synchronize it with Google Drive via an official Google cloud extension. This way, you can save your projects on that space.
