Things that Irritate me
- People who call before 08h00 or after 20h00.
- People who call at those times, and then have conversations with people around them.
Seriously. No one died. It can wait for tomorrow.
And if someone has died, the funeral is not tonight. It can wait for tomorrow.
And if someone is dying, shouldn’t you rather call emergency services? I have a strict no resuss policy. Like…if you weren’t walking and talking and dropped down in front of me, I’m not pushing on your chest. No way. I am the last person you want running your code (as the Americans would say). Unless you have a DNR. Also, if you’re calling me, and you’re not hospital staff, I am too far away to help. Seriously.
In short: call me only if you want to talk about pleasant things, between 08h00 and 20h00.
And whatever you do, do NOT ask medical advice.
