No, I think if we’re going to HAVE an entertainment/celebrity press then the one job it should be reasonably expected to do is notice the personalities of the people it’s writing about. Especially when they are dangerous. On the scale of entertainment journalism, not noticing a dangerous sociopath is as bad as it gets.

Folks in porn risked their livelihoods complaining about Deen (or being dismissed as jealous) — it is a small world. The press has a responsibility to do its job.
