Edinburgh design colour-wheel

This is my response to the task of photographing colourful designs around the city, that are encountered every day. I found this task very useful, because it got me to pay more attention to what design actually is and how much of it we encounter without even realising it. This opened my eyes to all the possibilities that this course offers, because whatever I encountered that inspired me, could open up a design direction I hadn’t realised I could progress into.

The arrangement I designed has a nice flow of colour around the A4 page. I wanted to fill the entire page, because I think this looks more appealing than my earlier version of this task which had a circular arrangement. Although it is called a wheel, I made my own version, which I believe works better.
