Ya Kun Peanut Butter Traditional Toast

I was freezing cold from the centrally regulated air-conditioning in the Toast unit shop (yes, I know I am talking about toast, but the company I work in happens to be named Toast as well and we are in digital remittance), and I gulp the warm, milky froth of a tea in between bites of my peanut butter toast.

As I bite through the soft, crispy thin layers of charcoal-toasted bread, and into the buttery peanut butter layer sandwiched in-between, for the first time in a long while, I truly enjoy what my country’s local hawker fare offers till this day — traditional toast accompanied with hot tea stirred in with evaporated milk (also locally called teh-c).

Savouring little moments like these on an otherwise packed working Sunday.
