Based on the announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Badruddin Haqqani has been appointed as the head of the Afghan Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said on the social network X Abdul Qahar Balkhi: “The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan considers the acceptance of the charge d’affaires of Badr al-Din Haqqani as an important development in the relations between the two countries, as a result of which the comprehensive political and economic relations between the two countries have expanded and to provide better services. Hundreds of Afghans will live in the United Arab Emirates.
Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, said: “Maulvi Sahib Badruddin Haqqani, one of the people of the Islamic Emirate, started working in Abu Dhabi and will provide consular services to Afghans in Abu Dhabi.”
Meanwhile, some former diplomats call the introduction of the new head of the Afghan embassy in the United Arab Emirates important for the sake of establishing relations and solving the challenges of Afghan immigrants in this country.
Najibur Rahman Shamal, an expert on political issues, said: “The introduction of the representative of Afghanistan to the United Arab Emirates can provide the necessary facilities for providing consular services to immigrants and businessmen.”
Aziz Ma’araj, a former diplomat, said: “Accepting the ambassador, like other countries that have direct and indirect diplomatic relations with the Taliban, because they cannot stay away from Afghanistan and regional issues, the United Arab Emirates has decided to accept the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate.”
The acting head of the Afghan embassy in the United Arab Emirates is introduced while previously, the Afghan embassies in Spain and the Netherlands interacted with the Islamic Emirate.
