Eternal echoes (Poem)

Eternal echoes ( death )

°~~~~~~~~~~~~~°~°~~~~~~~~~~~°

In shadows deep where silence reigns,
The end of life its grip maintains.
A final breath, a closing eye,
A whispered tear, a last goodbye.

The echoes fade, the world grows still,
A void where once was heart and will.

Yet in the quiet, memories bloom,
A flicker of light in endless gloom.

A journey ends, but love remains,
In whispered winds and gentle rains.
For though we part, we're never far,
Held by the night, beneath the stars.

So death may come, but life endures,
In dreams and thoughts, forever pure.
A circle closed, yet still we tread,
With those we loved, though they are dead.
