The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s.[1] The technique uses a timer to break down work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. These intervals are named pomodoros, the plural in English of the Italian word pomodoro (tomato), after the tomato-shaped kitchen timer that Cirillo used as a university student.

get about this Technique through Amal Online Project Course. This technique is basically to fight procrastination and time management by converging your concentration on the task.

I have to practice Pomodoro Technique. I planned to read 60 Page Urdu Novel Haalim by Nimra Ahmed in first 25 minutes. I bring up all the required material in drawing room.

I choose drawing room as it is the most peaceful place of my home with no Wifi Facility. Before practicing Pomodoro Challenge, I always distracted by the external factors including Wifi. Now this time, I committed myself to no more distractions by external factors.

I set the timer for 25 minutes on a alarm clock. During the study, I unconsciously happen to look the alarm clock & note how much time and pages of a novel are remaining.

After timer rings, I put out the piece of paper & note down how much more efforts I put in it. By practicing Pomodoro technique, I able to read 60 pages in just 24 minutes. I take a break after 1st target. I ate a chocolate, threw the wrapper in dustbin. I again set the alarm for 25 minutes to read more 60 pages of the Novel Haalim. By practicing this technique, I enable to read 120 pages of a Novel in just 56 minutes.

This technique is highly recommended as Pomodores are completed, they are recorded, adding to a sense of accomplishment and providing raw data for subsequent self observation and improvement.
