Neuro Block
A computer hacker/forensic psychophysiologist friend pitched me today:
“In short Neuro Block is a security wearable device that monitors your respiratory rate, galvanic skin resistance [sweat] and heart rate . If it detects any signs of drunkenness, euphoria, or anger, it literally switches the internet to a Read-Only mode. The days of drunken Facebook posts, tweets and emails are gone! A massive market this is!”
And then he tells me:
“It is based on a project we did for Blackwater, the private security firm. They wanted for Iraq some tamper-resistant electronic necklaces that can warn the wearer and send back an alert to base using syslog or SNMP traps. The messages contain GPS coordinates and are assigned a severity (one of: Emergency, Alert, Warning, Notice, Debug) and a description code based on Police 10/11 and Penal Codes. 390 means Drunk, 390D Drunk unconscious. 419 stands for Dead human body.”
Why does it use 261 and 261A? Well, his system can guess with 98 percent accuracy how scared, angry and sexually aroused an individual is.”
