If you look closely at New Testament, Jesus hangout also a lot with Pharisees, they where most of time around Him and He went to dine with them also. He was harsh with them cause He wanted to save them as well and cause He loves them as much as other sinners. Then again, not all Pharisees were bad, some of them were His closest followers. Focusing on just the “jugde not judge” element of Jesus’s Good News is like using PHP just to echo some strings.
