New County Administrator, New Gun Policy.
Bedford County made a number of changes in town legislation on Monday when Carl Boggess was named County Administrator and the Board of Supervisors voted to allow people to bring firearms int the work place. This decision likely comes in light of the terror attacks that have been plaguing this country. This legislation should lead to a safer work environment.
Are We Prepared for Snow?
After what seemed like a weekend of endless snow the city of Lynchburg has cleared all of the primary and secondary streets in the area. However they have only managed to clear 50% of the residential streets. With people needing to return to work this begs the question, are we really prepared for that much snow?
Hammer Attack!!
A woman from Monroe County was rushed to the hospital Sunday night after an argument with her neighbor turned ugly. Manuela Andrews was viciously attacked with a hammer after what neighbors have described as an argument over childcare. Holly Davis, the attacker, is being held without bond as the attack is investigated.
