QPS-Infra becomes part of Zebrunner solution
Need to setup open-source infrastructure for Test Automation? So that everything is ready in 10 minutes? And doesn’t cost you a cent?
Over the years QPS-Infra has become an ideal starting point for Test Automation projects for Java teams of various sizes. Being an open-source dockerized infrastructure solution, it served the need for startups and enterprise businesses with zero setup costs. It has no obligations, no need for the long procurement process, and vendor approval to run and use at your servers.
Looking at the success of the QPS-Infra team, we understood that this is how we see the ideal entry experience of our customers. Both QPS and Zebrunner teams share the same vision of the software free of aggressive sales, limited functionality, and “go premium” messages. The software should provide value. End of the story.
All of us at Zebrunner and QPS being software users, are glad to pay for the software which brings us the value better than other pieces of software. And this is the philosophy we want to share through our products. With this amount of shared vision, it was a matter of time for our teams to unite the efforts.
From the current moment, QPS-Infra becomes Zebrunner Starter. Though running a joint development effort (yes, you’ll be able to receive new features faster!), Zebrunner Starter continues to be a free open-source solution for the broad audience. It is integrated by default with carina-core open source solution and uses Jenkins as a CI Tool.
What is so special about this open-source tool for the new user?
- Zebrunner Starter is built on top of popular docker solutions, it includes Postgres database, Zebrunner Server, Jenkins Master/Slaves Nodes, Selenium Hub, SonarQube, RabbitMQ, etc.
- All components are deployed under NGINX WebServer which can be configured in a fully secured environment
- Zebrunner Starter and its subcomponents all together can be used as an effective Test Automation infrastructure for test automation development, execution, management, etc.
- Sonar induces your team to code primely — code analyzers are equipped with powerful path sensitive dataflow engines to detect tricky issues.
- In addition, it is easily integrated with 3rd party devices/browsers cloud providers like Zebrunner Engine, MCloud, Browserstack, SauceLabs, etc.
Literally this means: keep your focus on the current tasks and let our Dockerized solution do all the setup. You save on the deployment costs and get the setup in 10 min instead of 120 hours.
