Out with the old, in with the Buterin.
Following recent concerns echoed by the ZED community surrounding the naming of our final bloodline, we have taken this feedback to change the name of the Wright bloodline.
Based on many suggestions from within the community, there was an overwhelming name that stood out.
We are excited to announce that the successful new bloodline name is…
Buterin is of course named after the Russian born, Canadian co-founder and inventor of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin.
Buterin is a figure-head in crypto currency, youthful, daring, bold, creative and determined; all characteristics which we at ZED and our community admire.
All references to Wright on our website will be replaced immediately with Buterin, and all future reference to the fourth bloodline will henceforth be referred to as the Buterin bloodline. The changing of the bloodline name does not affect any past transactions or mechanics within the ecosystem and is simply a change of name only.
