Mays- you always hit on my sports opinion (KOC does also).

The Eagles D is very exciting this year. They already had one of the best D’s last year- now add to that Jernigan, Barnett (who I am really excited about), and the second year of Schwartz.

The defensive backfield concern is too a large extent overrated. This isn’t the NFL of Darrelle Revis and Deion Sanders- guys you put on island and leave alone. The NFL now is about finding pass defenders that match your scheme and are coached properly (look at Josh Norman, Brandon Harris, Malcom Butler, AJ Bouye and even Brian Poole- not elite- but an undrafted FA rookie). Mr. Mays, I would hope you look into this point it is a pretty crazy argument- that cornerback is overrated in the current modern NFL scheme. If you put Khalil Mack on any team, he is near MVP. We saw firsthand if you change teams for Josh Norman, he becomes a normal player. The eagles had no name cornerbacks last year- but finished with a top 5 Pass D DVOA.

The eagles D-line is a beast, such an improvement from last year, when they already had a top 5 D, and I think they will run away with the NFC East.
