Suh was a legend. From the perspective of maybe being the best defensive football player in college football history I can remember, his professional career is a bit of let-down. To be clear, he is great in the NFL, but he dominated college football much more than a J.J. Watt, Von Miller, Khalil Mack. He was the best defensive player in college ever.
Perhaps, it is just the nature of the NFL, I don’t know if it is possible for an interior defensive lineman to be able dominate like Suh did in college. To be clear interior defensive lineman are important, but I don’t know if they justify the huge costs of Suh and Fletcher Cox. The NFL is driven by edge rushers defensively.
Man he was fun to watch in college.
