Love conquers one of the weaknesses of humanity, fear. Unlike the common knowledge of many that courage is the antidote to fear. But the antidote to fear is not courage, but love.

Perfect love cast out fears.

  • When you’are afraid to fulfill your dreams.
  • When you don’t know what lies ahead in your life.
  • When criticism of others paralyze you.
  • And when your past mistakes and failures keep hunting you.

Remember, just continue to go on and do things with love. Because love endures, it always wins and never ever gives up.

Most people are so afraid to take a leap of faith. They’are afraid to trust others because of their past hurtful experiences.

They are afraid to pursue a goal and start a single step to make it happen. They are scared to commit mistakes. They are scared to face people and circumstances simply because fear is stopping them to start a journey on possibility. The possibilities of breakthrough, healing, and victory.

Since love is the antidote to fear, the next question is how can you experience and live in the entire scope of love?

Here are the 5 things that might help you to discover the power of love in your life.

1) Believe — Believe in the primary author of love, Jesus. You can’t able to love others if you don’t believe in the Creator of love. God himself is love.

2) Forgive others and forgive yourself- When you forgive others, you also free yourself from the shackle of resentments, anger, frustrations, and pain of the past. Then forgive yourself. Complete healing also happens when you learn to be more kind and loving to your self.

When you forgive yourself, you understand your weaknesses and you will also learn to understand others failures and become even more compassionate with the imperfections others.

3) Be intentional to love others and always on the lookout of others interest instead of yours.

Love is not sentimentalism. Love is beyond feelings. It is a wise choice of doing what is best for others and for yourself.

”Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circusmtance” ~ 1 Corinthians 13:4–7
