2023 Roadmap Milestones for Zenland

Zenland is a smart contract escrow platform for safe and trustless P2P transactions of digital products, services, and virtual assets.

2022 has promised interesting milestones and challenging deliverables, and it did not disappoint. From our first Ethereum deployment to the official launch of the smart contract escrow, Zenland has been going strong amidst the apparent crypto winter, humanitarian crises, Ethereum merge, Tornado Cash sanction, and hacking attacks on major blockchain networks.

Now, as 2023 kicks off, and the roar of the bullish cryptocurrency market gets louder, Zenland is ready to scale its growth and fuel the change in the global P2P trade.

So far we are in line with the set milestones, yet a few most important ones are awaiting us ahead. With your support and encouragement, we are soon to release our utility token and a web3 escrow marketplace.

ZENF token: minting, TGE, utility

Zenland Fee ($ZENF) token is an ERC-20 token with the goal to facilitate mass adoption and use of the escrow smart contracts for regular P2P trades.

It is intended to be used to pay the Zenland Fee, a service fee for each contract deployment. When the platform users top up their internal wallets with $ZENF tokens they automatically get a 50% bonus added to their balances.

This early adopter’s reward runs indefinitely to promote the use of the smart contract escrow and is part of our mass adoption strategy. This “early-bird” benefit can be used towards the service fee payments for all current, soon-to-be-released, and future types of smart contracts, including marketplace contracts as the next step to complete.

Other applications of $ZENF tokens include various community reward programs, priority access to governance token generation events (TGE), and other necessary steps to build the Zenland DAO.

Token mint is soon to be announced (scheduled for Q1 2023) and will be offered at a discounted price through 3 rounds of a presale, before the IDO.

Item listings & marketplace contracts

Pre-approved model, the foundational model for the Zenland marketplace, will allow multiple sales with a single escrow contract. Marketplace contracts, as the major component of the pre-approved model, along with the processing pipeline, are designed to accommodate repeat sales for a larger stock of items or professional services offered on a continuous basis.

Unlike regular escrow contracts better suited for one-off sales and purchases, sellers can create and add marketplace contracts as items to their profiles. Similar to any ad or product listing on the online marketplace.

The contracts have a similar navigation UI so that users already familiar with the default escrow contracts could easily use the new type whenever necessary. As the Phase II beta continues these contracts and listings are the focus of ongoing tests and soon should be available for public use.

Analytics: UI, report, and review system

The foundation of every working solution, the analytics, will provide a visual representation of user contracts, and their reviews. For its self-regulated and decentralized nature, Zenland marketplace will also have a fraud report system so that its users are the guardians of the marketplace.

The Analytics report system will record and display key metrics on successfully closed contracts, disputed contracts, as well as reviews received on both ends: from the buyer and the seller. This data will help other users entering into an agreement with a particular buyer or seller make informed decisions. The release of the analytics is scheduled for Q3 2023.

Full EVM compatibility: network settings

Full EVM compatibility, the icing on the … and every web3 project pioneering global adoption of smart contracts and the new standard of trustless peer-to-peer trade.

EVM compatibility is an ongoing process executed in different phases. The goal of phase I compatibility tests was to ensure a safe execution environment for smart contracts across 6 major networks: Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom, and Gnosis. This phase has recently ended with successful contracts deployment and execution on both test and main networks.

The next phase of EVM compatibility, scheduled for Q4 2023, will integrate 7 other blockchains into the interface (TBD) but also allow a custom selection of networks. This is done via a separate page for adding custom networks compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine.

Documentation, marketing, and partnerships

Over the course of all quarters, Zenland will prepare and update its User Documentation, Knowledge Base, Whitepaper, and other applicable papers documenting the progress of the project.

Our marketing strategy is carried out in multiple phases and involves strategic cooperation with partners, advisors, community foundations, Token Generation Events (TGEs), community rewards, and the Early Adopters program. Its all-time goal is to ensure the growing demand for the first multichain escrow and marketplace for cryptocurrency-minded people.
