Things never come alone
“How are you, little one?” I said.
She was sick.
“I am good. Still very stuffy,” she said. “But I will see him later today.”
“Ok,” I said. “But take it easy today! Rest so that you can get better... And no alcohol!”
“Haha, it’s so bad that you think I drink every day!” she said.
“No I said it only because I thought you might get a beer with him,” I explained.
“How are you?” she asked.
“Me… I’m soooo tired... I’ll get my period in 2–3 days; my entire body is swollen,” I said.
“Ayy I got my period on Wednesday,” she said. “And actually that’s when I started to feel sick…”
And she added, “Things never come alone.”
