MH17 lost over ukrainian airspace
295 passengers on board the flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur may be lost.
Malaysia Airlines has confirmed lost contact with flight MH17
Plane was carrying 295 passengers
Online Flight tracker http://flightaware.com/live/flight/MAS17/history/20140717/1000Z/EHAM/WMKK has listed the flight a ( Boeing 777-200 (twin-jet) ) as status:unknown
The last time a plane was listed as unknown it was the MH370, it should also be noted that this is the exact same model plane as the MH370, and is still in use today by many airlines and has an outstanding safety record, aside from these two particular incidents.
Twitter users have been updating the crash infomation live, according to some locals the plane went down somewhere in eastern Ukraine

allegedly interfax (an russian news website)is reporting that MH17 had been shot down by an anti aircraft missle the BUK-M1 http://interfax.com.ua/news/general/214112.html

that may have been captured from inactive bases by rebels.
it is important to note that typically, commercial aircraft fly high above combat zones at 35,000 feet, and it would ordinarily be safe and out of reach of missiles, it is unclear at this time if the missiles had the capacity to shoot down the plane and what altitude the plane had been cruising at while it was flying through this area

This is what the plane looked like.

locals tweeted this photo an airplane door painted in Malaysian Airline colours
take all this with a pinch of salt as most news on MH17 is from twitter and various unconfirmed sources.

pictued above ,The passport of a dutch passenger had alledgedely been found near the crash site
Girkin (one of the main leaders of terrorists) has also made claim for the airstrike

this has since been deleted.
Emergency Ministry official on site says body parts scattered around up to 15 km from crash site, at least 100 bodies seen , there has been multiple evidences that a crash did indeed happen, what’s left is to deduce how and why did it crash.. my heart goes out to the families of those who were on board.
thankfully commercial airliners now take evasive action to avoid eastern Ukrainian airspace, hopefully all this gets resolved peacefully, there are many innocent parties on board, if ukraine/russia/rebels did indeed shoot down the plane, accidentally or not, there will be reprecussions, especially since there are many people of different nationalities onboard MH17.
