Theme: health vs beauty

Idea: I have the habit of taking daytime nape without removing my eye makeup or taking out my contacts. So I want to make a sleeping mask to remind me not being lazy for eye protection.

Methodology: collect contacts from my roommates/friends. Crush them after they are completed dried. Stick the dried broken contacts together with a glue and paint the contacts with colors which represent the eye makeup.

Medium: paper, sleeping mask, water color , contacts

wait contacts drying
glue the contacts and paint them with colors
Eye-catching style
stick them on my sleeping mask
also can be used for Halloween

Expected Results: Users can get the idea that dried contacts and eye makeups harm their eyeballs while touching or looking at the sleeping mask.

Questions: What is the balance between beauty, laziness and health? How to give enough hints and suggestions to make users to make a wiser or a more responsible choice? (think about package design for cigarettes)
