We believe people have a special skill to see the world in the most unique ways. They translate those observations into the universe of visual, audio and written content we can all see and understand. People’s opinions, views and discoveries alter the way we see the world and have an enormous impact on our daily decision making.
Almost all of us are content creators, but only a handful managed to turn their content into profit, while the majority of us are left out without anything.
On the other hand, companies who are associated with and host the content get most of the profit. As you can see the irony is big — Giants (Facebook, TripAdvisor, Yelp…) who own the platforms but produce insignificant amounts or literally no content are the ones that are worth the most.
Our vision is to change the perception of content creators value and bring balance between them and the world of business. From reviewers, influencers on social media, writers, photographers, bloggers, vloggers and other content creators, everyone needs to get rewarded. This is why we have created Futourist.
Futourist is a service review platform built on blockchain in order to bring fairness to all content creators in the form of financial rewards. It reveals the true value of content creators and rewards them for their contribution.
Opportunity that lies in front of us all
Revenue of content marketing services was worth more than 190 billion $ in the year 2016 and is expected to be worth more than 313 billion $ by the year 2019!!! Imagine if only 1% of this will be available for distribution between everyday users.
Our vision is aimed to build the first platform in the world that rewards users for creating, sharing and curating content.
Creators of content will be able to receive tokens for their contribution and by that fairly compensated for their actual work which is now perceived as free.
Our platform is built in a way that somebody who has a regular job and creates content as a hobby now has a chance to earn money on the side. That comes instantly without struggling years and years to come to a certain point of creating revenue.
Futourist is based on fair distribution of rewards underlined by blockchain technology. It’s uniqueness comes from simplified user interaction and actual payment for the content produced.
We plan to launch Futourist in the second half of 2018 and prove that anyone producing content has the potential to earn money without having to work for ages.
We will focus on travel and tourism industry first. These are perfect for our project because they include content which has enormous engagement on a daily basis and is becoming more essential each day. Other industries will follow soon.
