Spot on Dan, I feel the same way. Swimming laps is a type of meditation for me, walking allows me to process my thoughts and bike riding lets me view the world at a different pace, all while breathing big lung fulls of oxygen. I do appreciate the kick up the arse that a class gives but I know myself well enough to know when to push and when to rest.
